SERVICE PLANNER
Service Date Selection
The program automatically selects the service date for the upcoming Sunday or Holy Day whenever it is started. This date may be changed by the user and set to any future Sunday or Holy Day within a 2 year window.
The program uses a built-in liturgical calendar to display the name of the Sunday or Holy Day in the Liturgical Calendar box.
Service Time Selection
The Service Planner tab is used to select the service time.
The program allows for 3 different Sunday service times to be selected. A separate service bulletin may be generated for each service or a combined service bulletin may be generated for morning services.
Service Type
In addition to selecting the service time, the Service Planner tab is also used to select the type of service. The program makes provision for the following types of service:
- Holy Eucharist
- Morning Prayer
- Evening Prayer
- Choral Evensong
Liturgical Calendar for Year
The user may view the liturgical calendar for a 1 or 2-year period and see all the Sunday and Holy Day service dates and names. The following Holy Days are included:
- Epiphany
- Ash Wednesday
- Maundy Thursday
- Good Friday
- Holy Saturday
- Ascension Day
- All Saints Day
- Christmas Day
